Bach C Trumpet Stradivarius 239 C180MLSP
Please read my profile before commenting or purchasing. Thank you.
This is a Bach C trumpet. It's a trumpet that's useful for chamber music and orchestras. It combines Bach's characteristic brilliant tone with a light feel. Bach C trumpets come with ML and L bores; this is an ML.
The current model, the C180ML SP, is quite expensive at ¥872,300. I believe this is a great deal at less than half the price in this condition. I only have one C trumpet, and this is from a good era with a serial number in the 380,000s, so I'm a little reluctant to sell it. However, I'm selling it to fund the purchase of a new instrument.
I believe it's in reasonably good condition. There are no noticeable dents, and it appears to be a clean instrument for its age. There is some tarnish and wear on the silver plating of the valve casing, but no peeling down to the base metal. I've uploaded many images to show the overall condition. There are minor shallow scratches, so please check the images. There are no defects not shown in the pictures.
The pistons move smoothly with no issues with airtightness. All tuning slides are movable. Even the top and bottom caps have been serviced. It is ready to play immediately.
The original genuine single case is included.
A mouthpiece is not included. If you absolutely want a mouthpiece, please contact me via comment. Depending on the timing, I may be able to include one.
